It's been nearly  years considering the fact that Superman's (Henry Cavill) huge conflict with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the town of Metropolis. The lack of lifestyles and collateral damage left many feeling indignant and helpless, consisting of crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). 

Convinced that Superman is now a chance to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to quit his reign on Earth, whilst the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his very own campaign in opposition to the Man of Steel.
